Montecito Home Sales for the Month of August

In the month of August seven properties sold in Montecito for over $2 million. This was significantly lower volume compared the 12 properties sold for over $2 million in Montecito in August of 2009.

The feature property for August was this elegant Mediterranean home set on 1.75 lush acres with panoramic ocean views stretching all the way from Ventura to the Harbor. This home includes luxurious spa quality finish details, pool, outdoor dining terrace, hand chiseled stone walls and a gated entrance. The selling price for this luxury Montecito estate was $6.132 million.

The second most expensive property to sell in Montecito in August was this bright contemporary estate in Montecito’s Golden Quadrangle.
